Food Distribution During COVID 19

In 2024, the charity NGO LIWEED successfully organized a Food Distribution Programme During COVID 19 to support underprivileged communities facing food insecurity. This initiative supported by DANGOTE FOUNDATION, aimed to combat hunger and malnutrition by providing essential food supplies to vulnerable individuals and families in need.

With the support of dedicated volunteers and donors, the programme reached 20000 beneficiaries, ensuring they received nutritious meals and staple food items to sustain their well-being. The distribution efforts prioritized children, the elderly, and low-income families, addressing immediate food shortages while also promoting awareness of healthy eating and sustainable food practices.

Beyond providing meals, the initiative emphasized the importance of community solidarity and long-term solutions to hunger. By fostering partnerships and encouraging local support networks, LIWEED reaffirmed its commitment to humanitarian aid and social welfare.
