Expanding access to education, practical knowledge, confidence and opportunity so vulnerable children, women and families can build independent, secure and hopeful futures.
LIWEED uses education and empowerment as tools for helping vulnerable people overcome poverty, exclusion and dependence. The organization supports children, adolescents, widows, caregivers and other disadvantaged people with educational guidance, life-skills development, counselling, mentoring, awareness programmes and access to learning opportunities.
Its empowerment activities help beneficiaries build confidence, understand their rights, make informed decisions and participate more effectively in their families and communities. LIWEED also provides psychosocial activities for vulnerable children, including educational and recreational programmes that strengthen their sense of belonging, emotional well-being and social development. Through training, advocacy and community engagement, the organization equips people with the knowledge and practical abilities required to improve their lives and contribute positively to society.
