Skills training programmes that coach beneficiaries to mastery and help them set up independent practices. 27 orphans and widows have regained independence through this programme.
Our end objective for every orphan, every widow, and every vulnerable person we contact is to help them regain independence. To this end, LIWEED automatically enrols enabled beneficiaries into their desired training programme where they are coached by experts to master the skills. Successful trainees are supported to secure employment or set up independent practices.
Professional volunteers help in training the beneficiaries. But sometimes, tutors are hired. Donations to this cause help in paying such tutors, buying training materials, and setting up successful trainees. As at August 2021, LIWEED has helped 27 orphans and widows to regain independence from this training, amounting to about ₦600,000.
